Katharina Grosse was born in 1961, she lives and works in Berlin. By her way of using industrial spray paint, she seems to be one of the most inventive and surprising contemporary painter. Her colors are not limited to a canvas size but invade the 3D space and recover objects like huge balloons, pieces of furniture... which turn out to be great sculptures. The beautiful colors she uses and the scale of her paintings makes the impact of her work even stronger. This is an amazing work, physical, powerful but feminine and sensitive at the same time.
